VIETNAM 4 - HOI AN

このﾍﾞﾄﾅﾑ旅行記も早ﾊﾟｰﾄ4!残すもあと少し。。
ちなみにまだﾊﾟｰﾄ1ｰ3読まれてない方、ﾁｪｯｸお願いします♪ﾍﾍ

Buffalo @ beach

Woke up early and had breakfast downstairs - thanks god, non Vietnamese food!!!!! 

I got excited to have omelets, salad, muesli and yogurt.....  too full (knew it) 

So decided to go for walk on the beach after breakfast. 

Oh my gosh!
 Is that a buffalo?!?!

I was taking pictures and a guy who was holding the buffalo asked us if we have seen it before. 

今日も早く起床して朝食を食べに行きます♪
ｷﾀｰｰｰｰｰｰｰｰ(≧∀≦) ちゃんとした洋食ﾌﾞﾚｲｸﾌｧｰｽﾄ!!!!!!
ｵﾑﾚﾂ､ｻﾗﾀﾞ､ﾐｭｽﾞﾘにﾖｰｸﾞﾙﾄ！！！！うれしすぎて食べ過ぎた（予想内）
って、ことで、目の前にあるﾌﾟﾗｲﾍﾞｰﾄﾋﾞｰﾁで散歩することにしましたぁ〜♪

そこで、ま。。まさかの、ﾊﾞｯﾌｧﾛｰ発見！？

ﾊﾞｯﾌｧﾛｰの写真を撮ってると、おじさんがﾊﾞｯﾌｧﾛｰ見た事ある？っと聞いてきました。

We: No! 

Man: Oh, in that case, you better hop in!  

We: Really?! 

Man: Yeah! Yeah! Give me the camera!!!! 

What a nice guy.... we said thank you and about to leave..... 

Man: Oi!!! (Shout) Don't forget to take a photo of me!!!!

Man posed and smiled..... and left LOL

おじさん：じゃー乗っちゃっていいよ。
私達：まじで？！
おじさん：乗って、乗って！写真とってあげるからｶﾒﾗ､ｶﾒﾗ :-)

なんていいおじさん。。。ありがとうを言って帰ろうかとした瞬間、

おじさん：おいっ！！（叫）俺の写真も忘れんなよ！！

と、いきなりのﾎﾟｰｽﾞに笑顔。。。で、去って行きました（笑）

Anyway... LOL 

We could take a shuttle bus to get Hoi An City but we decided to hire a motorbike instead. 

Actually, we had already negotiated the rental fee with a guy from last night (he has a little shop next to the restaurant we went last night) = only $7.50 for 8 hours 

If you wanna experience real Vietnam, you must ride a motorbike, right? 

Hoi An is good city to try - not many traffic and wider streets :-) 

って、事は置いといて。。。（笑）

今日はﾎｲｱﾝの街に行きます。ﾎﾃﾙからｼｬﾄﾙﾊﾞｽという手もあったんですが、あえてﾊﾞｲｸをﾚﾝﾀﾙすることにしました♪

実は、昨夜の夕食時に値段交渉してたんです+.(*’v`*)+ﾚｽﾄﾗﾝの横に小さなお店を持ってるおじさんと仲良くなって、ﾊﾞｲｸ８時間借りてたったの$7.50☆

やっぱりﾍﾞﾄﾅﾑを満喫するにはﾊﾞｲｸは試さないと、ねっ♪

ﾎｲｱﾝはﾍﾞﾄﾅﾑ初ﾊﾞｲｸにはもってこいの街。車やﾊﾞｲｸの量も少ないし、道も広くちゃんとしてる。

Whooo Hooo!

Hoi An is ancient and peaceful, one of the most popular destinations in Vietnam. 

The town used to harbor foreign traders back in the 17-18th, mostly are Chinese and Japanese nationalities. Some come and go, but many settle in permanently and etch their marks into the history of Hoi An.

In 1999, UNESCO formally recognizes Hoi An as a World Heritage Site. 

ﾎｲｱﾝはﾍﾞﾄﾅﾑの観光地の中でもとっても人気のある場所の一つです☆

17−18世紀にはいろいろな国、特に中国と日本、との交易拠点として栄えた場所です。

たくさんの人達の行き来し、そして多くの人がこの地に住み続けた事によっていろいろな国の影響が街全体に残っています。

１９９９年には、ﾕﾈｽｺから世界遺産として登録されました。

To visit most of the famous sites, you need to buy entrance tickets ($4.5 for 5 tickets) first. 

There are 8 ticket booths around the city. 

有名な観光名所を訪れるには入場券の購入が必要になります。（５枚付きで$4.5）

街の中に入場券売り場は８カ所ありますょ♪

How cute are they??? 

You can see lanterns everywhere in Hoi An. But I'd recommend you to go to Handicraft Workshop. 

Not only you can see how to make lanterns or ceramics, but also you have a chance to watch a traditional Vietnamese performance. (30min x 2 sessions per day)   

ﾎｲｱﾝと言えば、やっぱりちょうちん。
なんて可愛いんだろぉぉ♡
ﾎｲｱﾝの町中でちょうちんは見れますが、おすすめはハンディクラフト・ワークショップ。
ここに行くと、ちょうちんや陶芸品の作り方だけじゃなくって伝統音楽コンサートを鑑賞できちゃうﾁｬﾝｽ有り☆（一日３０分程度のﾊﾟﾌｫｰﾏﾝｽが２回やってますので、時間ﾁｪｯｸしてね！）

It's a small bridge! 

One of Hoi An's top attractions - Japanese Bridge

As a Japanese, I couldn't miss it! Very small bridge but strong.  

Construction on this covered bridge began in the Year of the Monkey (1593) and was finished in the Year of the Dog (1595), hence the monkey and dog sculptures at either end:-) 

Can you see? Those lanterns in the bridge have "Hoi An" letters written in Japanese! 

ﾎｲｱﾝで一番人気の観光場所と言えば。。日本橋！

日本人として、ここは見逃せない☆

この橋、実は1593年のさる年に建築が始まって1595年の戌年に完成したんです。

なので、橋の両端にさるといぬの銅像が置いてあるんだって〜ｄ(･∀･*) 

見えるかな？ひそかに、ちょうちんに日本語で”ホイアン”って書いてあるぅぅw

It was another hot day - more beer please! 

Quick rest at a cafe just in front of the Thu Bon River. 

I became a big beer drinker in Vietnam ヽ(*´∀｀*)ﾉ.+ﾟIn this heat, it's awesome!

このﾍﾞﾄﾅﾑ旅行でﾋﾞｰﾙ飲みになってしまったゎ〜♪この暑さの中での一杯はたまらん！

More sightseeing and shopping - we visited lot of Chinese temples and an old traditional house of Tan Ky. (To be honest, everything looked pretty similar... ) 

You can find any souvenirs in Hoi An - shopping heaven with great discounts:P 

We bought few stuff and ..... tailor-made shoes.

I have a story to tell. 

There are so many shops you can buy your tailor-made shoes or jackets in Hoi An. 

I don't know why we chose that shop. At that point, my nightmare had already started.  

I tell you whole story later - for now, I'd only tell you that we managed to order 3 pairs of shoes for only $105. 

からの、観光とお買い物♪中国のお寺達とﾀﾝｷｰのお家に行きました。

（実際どれもけっこー同じ感じ。）

お買い物は超楽しい☆どんなお土産だって見つけれちゃう！

お土産屋だらけだから。ﾌﾟﾗｽ値切れるw

私達もお土産とかと。。。。。ﾃｰﾗｰﾒｲﾄﾞの靴を買いました☆

はい、こっからﾄﾞﾗﾏ始まります。

ﾎｲｱﾝってﾃｰﾗｰﾒｲﾄﾞで靴とかｼﾞｬｹｯﾄとか安く作れるんですけど、なぜか立ち止まったあのお店。入った瞬間から、きっとこの悪夢は始まってました。

この続きは、次回書きますが、値段だけ言っておきますと、値切ってﾃｰﾗｰﾒｲﾄﾞ３足合計$105でした。

If you'd like to have a look more local area, there is a riverside market (Hoi An Market). 

It's still just after lunch time but we decided to go back to the hotel - anyway we were coming back to the city to pick up our shoes next day

We still had time before dropping off the motorbike to the shop.... so decided to go for a ride and went to Cua Dai Beach.

もし、もっとﾛｰｶﾙな場所がお好きなら、川沿いでやってるﾎｲｱﾝ ﾏｰｹｯﾄへ！

まだお昼ちょい過ぎだったんだけど、ﾎﾃﾙ方面に帰る事にしました。なんでかって言うと、次の日に靴を取りにどうせまた来る事になったからぁ〜。

でもまだﾊﾞｲｸ返す時間まで時間あるなぁーってことで、ちょっとﾄﾞﾗｲﾌﾞに行く事にして、隣のｸｱ ﾀﾞｲ ﾋﾞｰﾁ行ってきました(*´▽｀)◇ゞ

It's a public beach - so many tourist are swimming or baking... 

We decided to have lunch at this restaurant "Chien Live Seafood". 

DO NOT GO! 

The worst noodles we've ever had in this trip. Horrible! 

There were so many flies everywhere and disgusting dishes..... I m sorry but it was wrong. 

Suddenly I missed our private beach and pools in the hotel. 

Leave ASAP. 

このﾋﾞｰﾁは公共っぽい。めっちゃ観光客が泳いでたり焼いてたり♪

昼食まだだったので、このｼｪﾝ ﾗｲｳﾞｼｰﾌｰﾄﾞというﾚｽﾄﾗﾝに入ってみました。

行っちゃダメ！

この旅行で一番まずいﾇｰﾄﾞﾙ。食べれないくらい、まずい。

しかも、なんか小ちゃい虫がいっぱいだし。。。って、言い過ぎ？ｺﾞﾒﾝね、でも、あれはない(；一_一)

急にうちのﾎﾃﾙのﾌﾟﾗｲﾍﾞｰﾄﾋﾞｰﾁとﾌﾟｰﾙが恋しくなっちゃった。

はい、行きましょう。。。今すぐに！

We were at the beach/pool side for a couple of hours, just in time for happy hour at the hotel lounge. 

A couple of drinks with nibbles, that's our dinner tonight:P 

Beautiful ocean/pool view and lovely drinks... fell much relaxed now.  

Ahhh I love this hotel <3

VIETNAM 3 HANOI / HOI AN

Hello hello! Sorry I couldn't post anything for a while - What was I doing? 

I went to Tokyo :-) First time I thought Tokyo is cool... I might move up there soon...(or not) 

こんばんわぁー！少しの間、またまた何も書けなくてごめんなさい。

実は、東京に行ってました☆

今回初めて、東京ってやっぱすごいと思ったかも！

Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum

Anyway back to my holiday in Vietnam. 

Our last day in Hanoi, we couldn't miss the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, right? 

Woke up really early and took a taxi to get there. 

Maybe because it was Monday morning (or why?) no one was there..... 

Surprisedly it was the quietest place in Hanoi LOL 

Or we were just lucky? 

さてさて、ﾍﾞﾄﾅﾑ旅行記に戻ります♪

ﾊﾉｲ最終日、ﾎｰﾁﾐﾝ廟は行っておかないと！

って、ことで、頑張って早く起きて、ﾀｸｼｰに乗り込んで着いたﾎｰﾁﾐﾝ廟前。

見事に誰もいない（笑）こんなに静かな場所はﾍﾞﾄﾅﾑ到着してから初めて。

意外すぎるw　月曜の朝だから？なんでだろう。。。

ただﾗｯｷｰだったのかもぉーΣd(≧∀≦*)

OMG! I found a guy walking!!!! LOL

Central Sector of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long

Walked down about 15min toward the city from the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, there is another world heritage site - Central Sector of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long 

Unfortunately they close Mondays (but we got in somehow) and couldn't get any closer than this picture:-(  

ﾎｰﾁﾐﾝ廟から歩いて１５分ほどの所にもう一つの世界遺産があります。

ﾀﾝﾛﾝ遺跡。

月曜日がお休みらしく（が、なぜか入れた）これ以上近づけなかったという悲しい結果。

But we could see US Military Aircrafts which I think used for Vietnam War. 

(My boyfriend bought this Vietnamese Cap for ... only $1! If I remember now, this was the beginning of his stinginess.... well, he would say it was his negotiation skill LOL 

でも、その代わりに、USA戦闘機（たぶんﾍﾞﾄﾅﾑ戦争の時に使われたのかな？）を見る事が出来ました☆

ちなみに、このﾍﾞﾄﾅﾑ帽、彼がなんとたったの＄１で購入したもの。

今思えば、これが彼の根切り魂に火をつけたのかもぉぉ。。。

この後からどんどん値切り始めたからなw

A Japanese girl in Vietnam 

Walked another 15min, on the way to the Old Quarter, I found a railway line. 

Not sure if it's still used, but if it is..... imagine. 

How could these people sleep at the nights?!?! 

更に１５分ほど旧市街に歩く途中にこのような線路発見！

まだ使われてるのかどうかは。。。わかりませんが、もし使われていたら。。。

想像してください！！！！この人達、どーやって寝るんだろう。。

Ma May's House

And next, we visited "Ma May's House" - 87 Ma May St, Hoan Kiem District

It is a classic example of late 19th-century housing in Hanoi's Old Quarter - 

one of the few intact remains of an old-style home open to the public in Hanoi.

Entrance fee is $1. 

そして次に、訪れたのはﾏｰﾏｲの家。旧市街の87ﾏｰﾏｲ通りにあります。

１９世紀のﾊﾉｲ旧市街の典型的な住宅設計で、家の中を見学できます（さすがに少しﾘﾉﾍﾞｰｼｮﾝはしてあるみたいですが。。）あ、入場料１００円くらい。

An english (pretty) tour guide will be with you whole time and explains the history. 

You can see some old Japanese architecture in the house too. 

If you have time, worth visiting :-) 

英語ですがｶﾞｲﾄﾞさん（可愛い）がずーっと付いて歴史などを説明してくれます☆

日本の建築法の影響も受けているので、日本っぽい雰囲気も随所に！

We'd been walking around, getting tired an hungry again (yes, we already had breakfast at the hotel). 

Went into a nice looking opened restaurant for a bite.

朝から歩き回ってるのでお腹がまた空いて来ちゃった！（朝もしっかりﾎﾃﾙで食べたんだけどなぁw）

と、言う事で、ちょっとおしゃれなｵｰﾌﾟﾝﾚｽﾄﾗﾝ "ﾙｰ ﾄｩｰ"に入りました♪

  　People around us were dipping these deep fried bread (?) into Pho. 

How could I resist not to try them?! 

...... they were just deep fried puffs. Eww  

周りの人達はﾌｫｰにこの揚げﾊﾟﾝ？みたいなのを浸けて食べてます。

これは試してみたい！

。。。。と、試したが、大きい衣？めっちゃ油のかたまりやん。

Hoa Lo Prison

Before heading back to the hotel, I had one more place I really wanted to visit - Hoa Lo Prison 

Originally built by French for Vietnamese political prisoners and later by North Vietnam hold American POW’s during the Vietnam War. 

This museum is really an experience with displays and information that give you an insight into the history of the prison and the conditions in which the prisoners had to live in. 

Obviously it's not a happy place but I want you to visit and feel. 

You can see the guillotine and part of an old sewer that was used during an escape from the prison. 

ﾎﾃﾙに帰る前にどうしても行きたい所がありました。

ﾎｱﾛｰ収容所。 

元々は１９世紀の植民地時代にﾌﾗﾝｽ人達によって作られた刑務所で、反対制派のﾍﾞﾄﾅﾑ人を投獄していたところで、ﾌﾗﾝｽ撤退後､ﾍﾞﾄﾅﾑ戦争中はｱﾒﾘｶ人捕虜収容所として利用していたそうです。

この博物館、収容者達がどんなに辛い条件で過ごしていたのかなど展示物や資料ですごく伝わってきます。確かに、訪れるのに楽しい場所ではありませんが、是非足を運んでこの感じを感じて欲しいな。。

ﾌﾗﾝｽで開発されたｷﾞﾛﾁﾝとか逃亡時の下水道の一部も展示してあります。

Time to say good bye to Hanoi. 

We got the airport on time and quickly went to the Jetstar check-in counter. 

umm...... I can't see our flight number on the board.... why? 

Hello????? What did you just say?! 

Yap, 4 hours delay - thank you VERY much! 

We were supposed to get Hoi An at 4:30pm but now 8:30pm - great. 

Learned - DO NOT USE CHEAP FLIGHTS in Vietnam. 

We bumped into a couple who we met at the Ha Long Bay tour a day before, had also a problem with another cheap flight company. 

そろそろﾊﾉｲともお別れの時間。

空港には時間通りについて、さくさくっとｼﾞｪｯﾄｽﾀｰのﾁｪｯｸｲﾝｶｳﾝﾀｰに向かいます。

あれ〜？うちらの飛行機の便名載ってないけど？

はい？？？何？

４時間遅れでの出発ですかー、そーですかー。わざわざすみません、って何ぃぃぃ？！

せっかくﾊﾉｲに４時半には着くはずだったのに8時半になったら何にも出来ないじゃん（怒）

ﾍﾞﾄﾅﾑで習った事：ﾍﾞﾄﾅﾑでは絶対に安い航空会社は避けましょう！

前日のﾂｱｰで一緒だったｶｯﾌﾟﾙに偶然空港で会ったけど、彼らも違う格安航空会社利用でﾄﾗﾌﾞってた。

We had Ocean View Deluxe Room - wish we had a villa but with a low budget trip, I can't complain. 

It's already 9pm - heading out for dinner. 

This hotel is located in the beach end and takes 15-20 min to Hoi An City. 

So we decided to have dinner only crossed the road tonight.

お部屋はｵｰｼｬﾝﾋﾞｭｰのﾃﾞｨﾗｯｸｽﾙｰﾑ。ｳﾞｨﾗとかに泊まりたかったなぁ。。。が、この低予算旅行で文句は言えませんw

もう９時になっちゃったから、夕飯を食べないと☆

このﾎﾃﾙは海側にあってﾎｲｱﾝの街までは１５−２０分ほどなので、今夜はﾎﾃﾙの目の前にあるﾚｽﾄﾗﾝから選ぶ事にしました♪

After big dinner.... in a gorgeous hotel, definitely good sleep.

VIETNAM 2 - HA LONG BAY

HOT HOT HOT!!!!!! 

I didn't remember how hot Japanese summer could be..... this is my first summer in 7 years and I am struggling. Very struggling. 

こんばんわ！それにしても。。。。暑いぃぃぃo(；>△<)o 

こんなに日本って暑かったっけ？７年ぶりの日本の夏。。。。つらい、つらすぎる！

Day 3 in Vietnam - we went to Ha Long Bay.  

I had arrange a day tour before I left Sydney -  check this site, we booked a day tour for only $40 pp (Normally $45 - still the cheapest option I could find) 

３日目は世界遺産のハロン湾に行ってきました♪

ｼﾄﾞﾆｰから発つ前に日帰りﾂｱｰを予約しておいたので、ﾗｸﾁﾝヾ(o´∀｀o)ﾉ 

このｻｲﾄの日帰りﾂｱｰだったんですけど、なんとたったの$40！

（普段は$45、それでも探した中では一番安い）

Where are we????

At 8am, nice and early, our bus came to pick us up from the hotel. 

It takes 4 hours to get Ha Long Bay (yap, 4 hours - 170km away) so we stopped somewhere like above (where were we?) in half way for some rest. 

You find so many stone sculptures everywhere in Vietnam - apparently it's a popular industry especially in Da Nang (near Hoi An)

朝の８時にﾂｱｰﾊﾞｽがﾎﾃﾙまで迎えに来てくれました。

ﾊﾛﾝ湾までは片道４時間（はい、４時間もかかります）途中、ﾄｲﾚ休憩で上の写真のような大理石で作られた置物達が置いてある所で３０分ほど休憩。

ﾍﾞﾄﾅﾑではこの大理石像達よく見ました！
特にﾀﾞﾅﾝ （ﾎｲｱﾝの近く）はとっても盛んの産業の一つみたいです。

Don't feel like I am in Vietnam.. 

Another a couple hours later, the view from my bus changed. 

Wider streets, less motor bikes and bigger houses!!

更に二時間も走ると窓の外の景色が ｶﾞﾗｯと変わりました！

道は広いし、ﾊﾞｲｸも少ないし家がﾃｶｲ!!!!

 We hopped in to a boat and soon lunch was served. 

Started with fried spring roll, followed by fried eggs, squid and vegetable, prawns, fish and deep fried tofu. I can't complain - $40 for a day... what would you expect? LOL 

ﾎﾞｰﾄに乗り込むとすぐに昼食が出されました☆

揚げ春巻き、目玉焼き、ｲｶと野菜の炒め物、ｴﾋﾞ､魚ときて最後は豆腐の揚げ物。

たった４０ﾄﾞﾙのﾂｱｰに昼食付いてるなんて。。味の文句は言えません。

After 30-45mins later, we got a point - time to play with a kayaking boat! 

We had 30min to kayak around. So beautiful!!!!! And So much fun! 

(During this fun time, my boyfriend dropped his camera in water lol yap, he wasn't happy) 

30-40 分後、あるﾎﾟｲﾝﾄに到着。ｶﾔｯｸの時間です〜♪

３０分間の自由時間☆めっちゃ綺麗だし、楽しいぃぃ！

（が、ｶﾔｯｸ中、彼氏ｸﾝ､ｶﾒﾗ水の中に落としちゃいましたw←あ、笑い事じゃない？）

After kayaking, we went to see Dau Go Cave. 

ｶﾔｯｸの後は鍾乳洞を見に行きました！

Not sure about the lighting ... 

Natural light... really amazing 

The cave is huge and full of interesting stalagmites and stalactites.

I didn't like the colour spot lights.... but a part from that, everything was amazing. 

It's really humid in the cave, and you still have to walk up the steps etc... be prepared! 

After all, it's totally worth it! 

めちゃくちゃ広い鍾乳洞で、とっても興味深い鍾乳石や石筍がでいっぱいです。

色付きのｽﾎﾟｯﾄﾗｲﾄはどーなんだろう。。。と、思っちゃうけど、それ以外は本当にすばらしい☆

鍾乳洞の中はすごく蒸し暑くって、更に結構歩くので（階段あり）、覚悟して下さいw

が、後悔は絶対しないと思います☆☆

　Then we headed back to Hanoi (yap, another 4 hours drive). When we got back to the hotel, it was already 9pm.
We walked a lot and tanned a lot = STARVING!!
We went back to the city and went into one of the roof top restaurant (sorry I don't remember the name) in front of the lake. 

その後、またﾊﾞｽでﾊﾉｲに戻ります（はい、また４時間かけて。。）
　ﾎﾃﾙに着いた時はもうすでに９時。
たくさん歩いたし、太陽にもあたったので。。。お腹超空いたぁo(>ω<*)o
っと、言う事で、また街にくり出し、池の真ん前の屋上ﾚｽﾄﾗﾝに行きました♪
（ごめんなさい、名前忘れちゃった。。。）

I am..... kinda fed up with Vietnamese food.....ヽ( ;´Д｀)ﾉ
 They are really yummy but I need something fresh....
like salmon and avocado salad or something (dreaming) LOL

Again, we went back to the hotel and slept like a baby...

実は。。。私。。。この頃、すでにﾍﾞﾄﾅﾑ料理飽きてきちゃったw

美味しいんだよ、でもね。。

ｻｰﾓﾝとｱﾎﾞｶﾞﾄﾞのｻﾗﾀﾞとかぁーなんかさっぱりした物が食べたい！！！

（ﾍﾞﾄﾅﾑじゃ絶対無理）

その後、ﾎﾃﾙに戻ってやっぱり爆睡でしたw
